Sterling Silver

Our 925 sterling silver is an alloy of 92.5 per cent pure silver, designed for exceptional durability and guaranteed hypoallergenic wear. It delivers all the classic benefits of sterling silver, including brilliant shine, resistance to tarnish and timeless elegance. Unlike mixed-metal alloys, it will not irritate sensitive skin and maintains its lustre through years of everyday use.

Water and Tarnishing

Water itself will not damage our sterling silver. However, it does accelerate oxidation (tarnishing). The type of water and any dissolved chemicals influence how quickly our pieces darken.

Our Recommendations

• Safe water exposure: showering with our sterling silver in fresh tap water will not harm it.

• Avoid pool water, saltwater or any water containing chlorine or other harsh chemicals, as these will speed up tarnishing.

After any water exposure, dry your silver thoroughly with a soft, lint-free cloth to keep it looking its best.

Enamel

Enamelling is a technique where a glossy coating, traditionally made from glass, is applied to the surface of metal or another hard material. While traditional enamel is glass-based, we use cold enamel, also known as epoxy resin enamel, which does not contain glass. This modern alternative is more durable and resistant to chipping, making it well suited for everyday wear.

Our Recommendations

• Avoid water, heat, perfumes, and harsh chemicals to preserve the finish.
• Clean gently with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately.
• Store separately in a pouch or box to prevent scratches or chipping.
